Rec Design partnered with UN Women to develop the full strategic and creative framework for a regional campaign marking the 25th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. Grounded in research, audience insights, and regional context, the work translated a complex global agenda into a clear, actionable communication strategy—designed to mobilise diverse audiences across Europe and Central Asia.
The campaign concept positions the resolution 1325 as a milestone and an ongoing movement, balancing recognition of progress with a strong call to action. Built around the central message “Women Lead. Peace Follows.”, the strategy combines storytelling, digital engagement, and multi-platform activations, including video, social media, podcasts, and an interactive campaign hub.
Structured across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases, the framework provides a comprehensive roadmap for implementation, ensuring consistency, scalability, and local adaptation across countries and partners. By aligning narrative, visual direction, and content ecosystems, the campaign creates a cohesive and impactful approach to advancing women’s leadership in peacebuilding: turning policy into public engagement and advocacy into collective action.
