For WeProtect Global Alliance’s Global Threat Assessment 2025, Rec Design developed the editorial design and visual approach for a major global publication examining the rapidly evolving threats facing children in digital environments.
Developed with Columbia University and informed by research, expert analysis, and the perspectives of young people and survivors, the report brings together complex evidence on emerging technologies, societal risks and online child sexual exploitation and abuse, while making a strong case for shifting from reactive responses towards prevention.

Our design approach focused on giving clarity and structure to a large volume of sensitive and data-rich content. Through a strong editorial hierarchy, infographics, data visualization and carefully considered visual storytelling, we created a publication that makes evidence easier to navigate and key findings more immediate, while treating the subject matter with the sensitivity it requires.
The visual system also supports the report’s Prevention Framework, helping translate research into practical areas for action across governments, technology companies, civil society and international organizations.
