Rec Design developed the editorial design and visual framework for the Maturity Assessment of Drought Early Warning Systems in Southern Madagascar (2025), produced by UNDP. The publication translates a highly technical assessment into a clear, accessible, and structured narrative—supporting decision-makers, practitioners, and partners in understanding system gaps, capacities, and pathways for strengthening early warning mechanisms.
The design focuses on clarity and usability, combining a strong typographic hierarchy with modular layouts that accommodate complex data, scoring systems, and analytical content. Infographics and visual cues were developed to simplify the presentation of maturity levels and key findings, allowing readers to quickly navigate between evidence, insights, and recommendations.
